Six Stunning Bathrooms & Our Bathroom Must Haves

1. Major Marble

Marble is a luxury some of us have. The extent to which it flows is what sets this bathroom apart from the rest. Breccia Capraia marble makes its presence known; as it covers the tub, vanity, and back wall, the distinct veins and dark contrast forge texture on a seemingly smooth surface, adding another layer of dimension into this already stunning space. Gold accents fused with an unconventional black wall and trim combination make this bathroom a paramount of luxury and classic design.

Aside from features that prove this to be a bathroom, minimal decor makes a huge difference in the overall scheme and augments the timelessness of the space.

2. Tasteful Chaos

If you know English Traditions, you're probably aware of our love for tasteful chaos. Randomly arranged wall decor, when done correctly, can elevate a design exponentially. Not only does the decor fill space on this large wall, but its placement stabilizes the sink and sets its tone as an art piece itself. The Breccia Capraia marble, yet again, makes the bathroom what it is. With veining this extreme, there's no need for unnecessary tiling, trims, or extravagant wall colors. The lightness is grounded by wooden elements, making this yet another jaw-dropping bathroom.

3. Timeless & Traditional

We get it, the above bathrooms definitely don't suit everyone's personal tastes. But that's the fun of bathrooms! With a wide array of design styles, examining the designs of these spaces couldn't be more enjoyable. Switching to something more traditional, this bathroom is all that a bathroom should be; it's light, bright, elegant, and functional. With a free standing tub centered below a large window that accentuates the height of the ceilings and a contrasting wainscot trim that extends up the majority of the wall, this bathroom is a paradigm for tradition and bold, but sophisticated design.

4. White & Some More White

White seems to be the color of choice for bathrooms, and there's so much to love about it. However, this bathroom takes "white" to a whole new level. By not conforming to the standards of paint, the designer of this space does a fantastic job introducing vertical paneling, juxtaposing a conventionally "bland" color with a brilliant texture, creating dimension and interest in such a bright room. Did we mention the plantation shutters? While still letting in light, they give the perfect amount of privacy without sacrificing the greatest feature of this space: the natural light. A natural fiber rug and gold side table tone down the one color scheme and introduce a muted boldness that only elevates this already insane bathroom. We just love this.

5. Reflective & Extensive

When most people see a mirrored closet door, their first thought is getting rid of it. However, in this design, mirrors are what make the space. Playing off of the silver tub, the mirrored doors that cover the walls extend the scope of the design and make it feel much larger than it is. Another freestanding tub, centered in front of a gorgeous set of french doors, only adds to the utmost luxury that fills this bathroom.

Do you see what I see? More marble is used as a feature that, yet again, enhances the design and luxe. A miniature oriental rug not only adds color, but grounds the design that is primarily empty in the middle.

6. Classy & Custom

Like we said before, white is the theme for the majority of these bathrooms-- and we love it! The large tub/shower combo in this space is to die for; beautiful hardware, outstanding marble, and simplistic trim make for a very well appointed bathing experience. Small hexagonal marble floor tiles and the window that extends all the way to the ceiling make this room feel much larger than it actually is.

Narrow bathrooms are sometimes the hardest to outfit with storage, but this space seems to have plenty of cabinet space for linens and other bathroom essentials.
